With the Ballistic Air series, DAIWA offers an exclusive range of rods that set the standard in lightness, balance, and functionality. These top-class spinning rods impress with their modern design, technical sophistication, and versatility – ideal for demanding anglers who refuse to compromise.
The blanks are made from high-quality 40T carbon fibers, featuring exceptionally low weight and extremely fast action. These rods are equipped with original Fuji reel seats, lightweight and high-quality Fuji SiC K guides, and a perfectly balanced blank design, ensuring maximum sensitivity, control, and casting precision. The special carbon finish, CNC-machined reel seat nuts, and ergonomically shaped EVA handles provide excellent aesthetics and superb comfort.
The 2.30m model with a casting weight of 5–18g has been specially developed for fishing with various rigs such as Carolina, Texas, and dropshot. The sensitive tip allows fish to easily take the bait – ideal for perch and zander fishing.
For all soft-lure enthusiasts, models with casting weights of 7–28g, 10–35g, 14–42g, and even 18–56g are available. The thin, extremely fast, and stiff blanks transmit every lure movement, bottom contact, and subtle bite directly to your hand.
The highlight of the series is the 3.05m model with a casting weight of 7–32g. This rod is designed for long casts and is ideal for zander, large perch, and sea trout fishing at long distances. Its action is slightly more parabolic compared to the other models, allowing it to cast soft baits and wobblers over long distances and transmit even subtle bites from afar.
