The X45 blank construction minimizes torque and improves casting distance and accuracy. The V-Joint Spigot joint enhances the bending curve, ensuring very smooth bending under load. Another outstanding feature of this rod series is the exclusive DAIWA AGS carbon guides. These guides are significantly lighter than standard guides and greatly improve rod action and sensitivity – you can easily detect the lure’s action and quick bites. The AGS rods are characterized by an extremely fast action with excellent sensitivity. The Air Sensor reel seat is ergonomically shaped, offering a comfortable grip for fatigue-free long-term fishing. Finesse, Chebujig, Jigspin, Sensor Jig models, and rods with a casting weight of up to 42g are equipped with a carbon lower handle for improved sensitivity.

With four baitcasting models in the Prorex AGS series, DAIWA covers the most essential areas of modern BC fishing. The Finesse Baitcast model, with a casting weight of up to 14g, casts all common smaller rigs and finesse lures effortlessly and is also excellent for twitching small crankbaits. The models with casting weights up to 80g and 120g are specially designed for pike fishing with large XL soft lures on shallow rigs and jig heads, offering a slightly longer lower handle for easy handling. The tip bends smoothly on the cast, and the strong backbone ensures solid hook setting. The model with a casting weight up to 32g is ideally suited for zander fishing and pelagic fishing in shallow waters with smaller, lighter lures. This model features a carbon lower handle that transmits vibrations to the hand without delay.
