What is CHIRP?

Traditional sonar sends a single frequency pulse.
CHIRP (Compressed High Intensity Radiated Pulse) sonar sends a continuous flow of frequencies from low to high. That’s why the sonar readings are much clearer and offer higher resolution compared to traditional sonars.
