The new Saltiga 12-Braid Multi-Color from DAIWA offers significant improvements over previous versions and impresses with outstanding abrasion resistance, extreme tensile strength, and enhanced casting distances.
The innovative “Muscle PE” braiding process ensures an extremely round and tight structure that, compared to conventional 12-strand braids, leaves almost no gaps inside, greatly reducing water and moisture absorption into the inner core — resulting in significantly improved durability and performance.
Thanks to the use of the newly developed “Tough PE” fiber, which is slightly stronger and rounder than standard PE fibers, the strength and especially abrasion resistance have been enormously increased, along with the line’s overall lifespan.
The new “EVO+ Silicone3” coating provides an extremely smooth surface that behaves almost like a monofilament line, reducing both friction during casting and noise.
