Daiwa 24 Certate LT - ID: 8838 - ORG ID: 1764

Daiwa All New 2024 Certate AirDrive Design spinning is to offer feather like operation by reduced weight, well balanced body and light acceraration in handle turn, to give you more control in manipulation. Upgrades are mostly at the front of the reel. AirDrive Rotor has sphere-like shape to reduce weight and innertia by 16%. AirDrive Bail has a little slim 2.4mm dia (3.0mm for previous models) bail tubes and new shape to remove weight and to guide lines smooth to line rollers. AirDrive Spool has new drag clicking system separately from spool body, to remove weight. AirDrive Shaft design separates main shaft from pinion to remove friction, expecially at fights. Now more precision collar holds the shaft for smoother operation.

ATD Type-L drag releases lines more smoothly. ATD has a unique profile that incleaeses pressure as line accelerates faster. Type-L drag has less increasing drag for the acceleration. Twist Buster 3 new line roller has a kind step at the cone shaped roller for lines to settle well. Long Cast ABS spool has 2-lip design to maximize casting distance.

Mag-seal system is employed at pinion and line roller, to enlong the life of the reel. Mag-seal is the water repellant system using magnetic oil and ring magnets, achieving both light friction and high sealing performance. It has reduced line roller repairs by 1/10 at Daiwa.

Equipped with DAIWA’s latest technology, AIRDRIVE DESIGN. Evolution of LT and REAL FOUR, providing ULTIMATE CONTROL.

“AIRDRIVE DESIGN” is the next generation of spinning reel design concept. The 24CERTATE implements this cutting-edge technology in the front unit, providing anglers with the superior operability with maximum power and rigidity.

This landmark evolution has two major implications for the history of CERTATE.

One is the culmination of the LT concept, reached with the MONOCOQUE BODY. The other is the REAL FOUR concept that has been carried on from the first CERTATE which revolutionised spinning reels in 2004.

The REAL CONTROL was the last piece that needed innovative evolution, this has now been achieved with the 24CERTATE through the innovative technology of AIRDRIVE DESIGN.

Full metal (AL) MONOCOQUE BODY, a symbol of STRENGTH. The pursuit of power, rigidity, and durability never stops.

Full metal MONOCOQUE BODY made of aluminum symbolizes the strength that no other reels can provide. An identity that has earned CERTATE the trust of a wide range of anglers over the years. The desire to be strong and tough wherever possible made 24CERTATE even stronger.

Special surface treatment has been added to increase hardness of the drive gear and water resistance has been improved on the handle side, in addition, the drags and pinions of some of the larger models are reinforced to SALTIGA-equivalent specifications.

CERTATE is always a tough spinning reel that can be used for many years to come. The quality and strength of the product is the proof of its reliability, which has been widely used across the globe regardless of the target.
